About Guides

• Guides get to take part in lots of fun events.
  
• Guides make things happen for themselves. They belong to Patrols and are self-governing.
  
• Guides also get to make great friends out of school.
  
• Guides help other people.
  
• Guides usually get the chance to go camping. For many this is the best thing about Guides. Older Guides may be chosen to represent the County on International camps abroad.
  
• Guides make a Promise to do their best that is shared with other Guides all over the world.
  
• Guides help change the world!
