APPROACHING LIPHOOK FROM THE PORTSMOUTH AREA
Driving north up the A3 from the Portsmouth area in the Guildford/London direction, you will navigate only one roundabout near Petersfield (called the Ham Barn roundabout ) ... continue straight ahead here.
Take the 2nd exit after this roundabout, signed to Griggs Green.
(Don't worry if you can't see Griggs Green marked on your map, it is a very small hamlet).
If you miss the Griggs Green turning, take the next junction which is about 2 miles or so further on, signed to Liphook, and follow directions for approaching from Guildford.
The Griggs Green turning will lead you over the A3 and into Longmoor Road, which leads to the centre of Liphook.
You will reach a mini roundabout with the Royal Anchor Pub on your right. Take the 3rd exit to turn right and you will see Lloyds TSB ahead of you.
Almost immediately, start indicating and turn left at the second mini roundabout.
Again almost immediately, there will be another mini roundabout at which point you should turn right into Midhurst Road.
Follow the road around, (beware traffic calming humps), with Sainsburys supermarket on your left.
You will soon reach another (small, but 'proper') roundabout , where you turn left into the access road leading to the supermarket.
After you go round the initial bend, turn right into the overflow car park (just before the access road turns sharply left by the garage).
Park here.
Then take the paved path in the opposite direction to Sainsburys building. Cross the road and you will be directly in front of the Scout and Guide Halls.
