APPROACHING LIPOOK FROM THE LONDON/GUILDFORD DIRECTION:

Travelling south down the A3, initially follow signs for Portsmouth and Petersfield.

You will go past the Devil's Punchbowl at Hindhead, and reach the traffic lights, where there are often queues at busy times.
Go straight ahead here, and a few miles further on you will see a sign saying "Canadian Memorial Planting".  The Liphook turning is the next one on the left.

Turn left at the end of the slip road and you are in London Road.

Follow this road into the village centre past Radford Park, (watch out for 30 and 20 mph signs).

Turn left at the first mini roundabout and you will then have the Royal Anchor pub on your right, and Lloyds TSB straight ahead.

Almost immediately, start indicating and turn left at the second mini roundabout.

Again almost immediately, there will be another mini roundabout at which point you should turn right into Midhurst Road.

Follow the road around, (beware traffic calming humps), with Sainsburys supermarket on your left.

You will soon reach another (small, but 'proper') roundabout , where you turn left into the access road leading to the supermarket.

After you go round the initial bend, turn right into the overflow car park (just before the access road turns sharply left by the garage).

Park here.

Then take the paved path in the opposite direction to Sainsburys building. Cross the road and you will be directly in front of the Scout and Guide Halls.
